player in the beer industry is Tanzania Breweries Ltd. (TBL), a
subsidiary of ABInbev. Inflation rates remain high in Tanzania and
average income per capita is less than 1 USD per day. The GDP growth is
estimated at 7% and is expected to grow to 7.5% as investment, gold
production, trade and tourism pick up. There is growing consumer
affluence and consumerism, giving rise to greater opportunities in our
product categories.
Reports To: Engineering Team Leader / Utilities engineer
Purpose of Role
The Maintenance Technicians provide engineering support in the brewery.
Top Accountabilities
- Accountable for plant maintenance during the shift
- Manage shift operation independently ( include all utilities , brewing, ETP and packaging )
- Understand and maintain KPIs – co2, Energy (Electricity, Steam, Air) and water
- Implements maintenance schedules – advise planner on necessary changes/ inclusions to improve on plant maintenance
- Effectively
and safely execute maintenance breakdowns repairs and Complete 5why to
establish root cause immediately after breakdown rectification - Coach the technical operators on technical techniques
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements at the work environment.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
Qualifications
- A minimum of Diploma in Instrumentation and or Electrical Engineering
Experience
- At least three 3 years experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation/automation
- Understanding of industrial maintenance practices
