St. Mark’s Secondary School (Mark) is in the process of establishing a day care center for children from 9 months to two and a half years (2½).

That has been said by the Headmaster of St. Mark’s, Leticia Kaijage while speaking to students and parents in Dar es Salaam today at the graduation of Form Four 17th since the inception of St. Joseph’s High School. Mark’s which is boarding and all day.

Involving students graduating from St. Paul’s School Mark’s, said that the education they receive is better to go and use it well for their benefit and the nation as a whole.

“The education you received here at St. Mark’s is the best education. Go and use it for your benefit and the nation as a whole.” Said Master Leticia.

Stay away from bad associations that can ruin the discipline and good behavior you find here in St. Mark’s, be attentive to foster parents and the community at large, “said Teacher Leticia.

However, he urged them to refrain from taking precautions against diseases, especially AIDS, so that it would not be a reason for them not to be an example to families and the community at large and not to pursue higher education.

“At this time I wish you good preparation for the national exam and put God first in that preparation and this ceremony should not take you out of discipleship,” said Teacher Leticia.

For his part, the Executive Director of Mtembei Holding Limited (MHL) Schools, Peter Mtembei said that despite providing education services at St. Mary’s Secondary School. Mark’s, the school provides free water service to the citizens surrounding the school.

He said that for parents who teach children in St. Mary’s School. Mark’s are even more blessed as the fees they provide help the community around the school.

“The contribution you have made to parents and guardians in this school which is a fee, today has enabled mothers and children who were searching for water for long distances, now they have access to clean and safe water here at no cost, I believe the parent who was struggling to find water praying to God for his presence of the surrounding water the blessings come to you as a parent or guardian twice. ” Said the Walker

He said that it is now 20 years since MHL-owned schools continue to provide education services in the community where those schools are the Construction Secondary School located in Mkuranga district in Coast Region, Secondary School and St. Mary’s Primary School. Methew, and St. Mary’s High School. Mark’s located in Temeke district in Dar es Salaam and Primary School in Iringa.

“Over the next 20 years we are committed to improving and managing three main things which are ensuring quality education and establishing Video and Visual Classes, having a good upbringing as well as having child safety at school and at home.” Said the Walker.

17th Form Four Graduation at St. Mark’s had 76 students, 37 girls and 38 boys, and before the graduation ceremony, the students demonstrated practical lessons for the invited guests and the parents who attended the graduation.
