Artisan II-3 Posts

Qualifications

• NVA level lll/NTA Level 4 in Footwear and
• Leather Products -1 post
• NVA Level III in Plumbing -1 post
• NVA Level III in Laboratory Assistants – 1 post

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

According to DIT schemes of Services for Administrative Staff of 2013 but not limited to the following:-

• Performs routine specified tasks that demand higher technical skills under supervision;
• Keeps the work place tidy;
• Collects and takes care of working tools;
• Carries out minor repairs and maintenance;
• Reports maintenance problems to senior staff;
• Assists in Operational repair of machinery, facilities, building and Infrastructure;
• Performs specified craft jobs under close supervision;
• Performs technical cleaning of work environment;
• Takes care of tools and equipment; and
• Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by immediate Supervisor.

REMUNERATION

• Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institute’s salary scale of PGSS 3/1

GENERAL CONDITIONS

• All applicants must be Public Servants;
• Application letters for Transfer should be routed through respective employers;
• Attach current CV with 3 accessible referees one of them work related referee;
• Attach dully certified copies of education and Professional certificates;
• Applicants should have skills and qualifications as shown in each post;
• Applicants with certificates from foreign Universities should be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU); and
• All Secondary and Academic Certificates should have been verified by the respective Authority (NECTA and NACTE);
