Roles and Responsibilities
• Positioning Platforms and elevations as per the detailed design.
• Familiar with both bulk and residential power supply systems
• Able to read construction layout drawings and technical diagrams
• Install and maintain wiring, control and lighting systems
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers
• Identify areas of troubleshooting and fix electrical problems
• Capable of doing small installations
• Willing to work evenings and weekends during times of emergencies
• Must possess critical thinking skills to quickly analysis and solve problems that may arise
• Familiarity with various electrical testing devices
• Familiarity with state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Codes of Practice
• Able to repair or replace wiring equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Able to direct and train other employees/ Labourers to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring or equipment
• Be able to identify electrical wires by colours
Educational Qualifications
• Advanced diploma or advanced certificate in Electrical Engineering
• Registration with ERB is an added advantage
Experience Requirements
• 5 Years’ experience
• Ambitious
• Self-motivated
• Exhibit great leadership qualities
• Team player
• Possess creative and great problem-solving abilities
• Must be fluent in both spoken and written Swahili and English
• Immediate Problem solver and Self driven
• Highly motivated to work in a very professional, creative manner in contribution to the development of unique and modern real estate and urban centers for a culturally diverse communities which are aimed to create a significant socio-economic impact.
