NAFASI ZA KAZI FLEET MANAGER & TRADE MARKETING COORDINATOR - TIGO,
Fleet Manager
JOB PURPOSE
Ensure that facilities are efficiently organized and professionally administered as per the Tigo standards as well as Plan, organize and supervise operations and staff of the Fleet and Transport departments.
Core Responsibilities
o Supervise and ensure smooth execution of vehicle replacement program
o Ensure vehicle and fuel allocation are in line with HR related policies
o Implement the use of taxi service as a means of transport
o Introduce to a minimum preventative or predictive maintenance approach for company owned vehicles
o Review and compare repairs quotes with the initial diagnosis report from users – ensure all major repair works are supported with detailed diagnosis reports from vendors
o Monitor and review the performance of maintenance vendors (quarterly)
o Analyze all mechanical repairs – take appropriate actions for repeat works
o Ensure the fleet database is always up to date with all key information
o Ensure that all fleet related costs are properly tracked – rental charges, fuel, drivers, repair/maintenance, tyres, batteries
o Ensure the fleet policy is followed and adhered to Monitor vehicle usage pattern and correct where necessary to aver potential issues
o Ensure all vehicles are fitted with tracking devices in order to monitor speeding and unauthorized use Ensure safety policy, guidelines and procedures around fleet are followed
o Ensure all drivers are well mannered, provided with right coaching and training
o Supervise the usage of company fuel cards, ensure all anomalies are followed up and investigated
o Ensure all vehicle accidents are reported (investigation done where necessary) and insurance claims done on time Provide Tax team with information on time in order for them to process insurance for company owned vehicles
o Provide timely support to vehicle users whenever there’s a vehicle breakdown, accident, or fuel card issues
o Provide fleet reports that are required for both local and group reporting
o Coordinate transport needs for visitors (including VIPs)
o Perform other duties and projects as required or assigned
Academic Qualification:
• Minimum of 3 years in Fleet and Transport Operations
• Experience in fleet management
• A minimum of 3 years in in general administration

• Good analytical skills
• Independent and with good work attitude with high level of integrity

Trade Marketing Coordinator (Grade 8)
JOB PURPOSE
This position will have responsibility for developing and managing the trade marketing strategy for all
sales channels. The position has responsibility related to building brand equity and sales. The Trade Marketing and BTL Coordinator is responsible for working as part of the sales and Channel team to develop and execute marketing programs associated with the growth of the TIGO brand and support Go to Market in the zones.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design in-store execution plan in association with Trade marketing in the zones
• Ensure in-store communication inventory and seasonality for assigned region
• Execute BTL and promotional activities to boost sales for zones
• Ensure consistency and guidelines compliance of all Tigo communications at trade level for zones
• Control A&P execution in trade marketing expense
• Coordinate regional BTL agencies for zones
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• University degree, preferably in marketing, communication, engineering and business administration
• MBA or master preferably in marketing
• Trade Marketing experience, preferably in FMCGs
• A minimum of 1-3years of marketing, trade, business management or franchise management
experience are required
