KCSE RESULTS 2017 | Easy, Quick Ways Of Checking Your KCSE 2017 Results

The Education Ministry has announced the 2017 KCSE results in a public event at Nairobi School on Wednesday 20th December.

The results which indicate a general improvement in performance from 2016’s come in as an early Christmas gift for students, parents and teachers.

Now you can check your results more easily using simple technological device near you. This could be a mobile phone and an internet connected computer or smartphone.

On your mobile phone, you can receive results for any student who sat the exams by sending an SMS with the candidate’s index number to 22252.

Again, you are now able to check the results through the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) online portal through the following steps.

KNEC is the legally mandated body for managing exams, marking and releasing final results.

Step 1: Log onto KNEC’s official website using the link http://knec.ac.ke

Step 2: Click on the tab labelled Examination Results.

Step 3: On the first drop down menu, choose KCSE as the type of examination you wish to check results on.

Step 4: On the second drop down menu, choose the year the candidate sat for exams.

Step 5: In the text box that appears, key in the candidate’s index number.

Step 6: Click on the submit button and wait your results to be processed.
