GENDER & YOUTH INTEGRATION ADVISOR

An outstanding opportunity for a Gender & Youth Integration Advisor to join an International NGO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring gender is integrated into all project activities,as well as the youth focal person.

Job Description
-    Conduct a project-wide gender analysis to determine the state of gender inclusivity
-    Develop and facilitate the implementation of a strategy to use evidence-based approaches to strengthen gender-sensitivity and gender
-    Revise SOPs and project materials to incorporate specific actions to improve gender-sensitivity
-    Facilitate activities to help project and staff improve their own gender attitudes and beliefs and raise awareness about gender dynamics
-    Lead the design of a gender based violence prevention toolkit, to be adapted from evidence based approaches
-    Collaborate with national level DREAMS partners, government, and other stakeholders
-    Help to define the project learning agenda on youth and gender.
-    Contribute to documentation and dissemination of project lessons learned in youth and gender.
-    Stay up to date on state-of-the-art and evidence-based approaches in gender and youth, and work to integrate these into project activities
