HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS’ LOANS BOARD

DO YOU WANT TO APPLY FOR A HIGHER EDUCATION LOAN FOR AY

2018-2019?

• THE FOLLOWING ARE THE TEN (10) BASIC/KEY CRITERIA

1. Must be a Tanzanian;
2. Must be admitted by a fully accredited University and HLI for Degree, HD and Diploma
3. Must be a person with no financial assistance from other sources;
4. Must have applied for loan through OLAMS;
5. Must be a continuing student who has passed exams and is progressing to the next year;
6. Must have been admitted as a full-time student;
7. Must have completed ACSE, or equivalent qualifications not earlier than 2015/16
8. Must be under 30 years of age at the time of application;
9. Applicants whose parents are Directors and Senior Managers in private companies recognized by revenue and registration authorities are expected not to apply;
10.Applicants whose parents are leaders under Public Leadership Code of Ethics Act (as amended) are not expected to apply.

Application for loans must be done not later than September 4th, 2017
