Context/Scope

It is a member of the East African Community whose headquarters is in Arusha in Tanzania. The largest population, however, is in Dar es Salaam, which is the commercial capital. Tanzania is well endowed agriculturally and has vast mineral resources in the western part of the country, where the largest urban center is Mwanza.
Serengeti Breweries Ltd (SBL) is part of Diageo plc UK, operates exclusively in Tanzania and is the 2nd largest beer company with a market share of 40%. It is an integrated demand/supply business with 3 operational breweries in Dar, Mwanza, and Moshi which is situated in the northern part of the country near the Kenyan border. SBL’s flagship brand is Premium Serengeti lager. And most reputed brand Tusker, Pilsner, Senator and Malta Guinness, Serengeti Lite.
SBL’s 3 fully operational breweries in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza and Moshi have more than 1.5 Mhl capacity

Purpose of Role
To operate and maintain utility machine (Boiler, Refrigeration plant, co2 plant and air compressor, water plant) in best condition to maintain brewing and packaging to fulfill company demand.
Accountabilities
Always Check condition of the machine to ensure reliability
Ensure machine availability, reliability and efficiency through scheduled ,preventive and corrective maintenance
Maintain SBL asset care strategy by implementing asset care system
To fill all log sheet and checks related to equipment and keep all records
Professionally execute all processes associated with the provision of products/services to ensure high level of productivity.
To ensure safety of self, others, products, machines/equipment and environment are followed.
Keep good housekeeping and maintain equipment as good as new.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Have Veta grade one certification in mechanical or electrical and minimum 2 years experience in same type industries .and machine knowledge
